Listening to music by someone who's well known and respected in another field is a nervous-making proposition. Anybody can sing, after all; but damn few of us should be heard doing it. (Me least of all, I hasten to admit.) Surprisingly enough, Toni Collette is as good a vocalist as she is an actor. And that's very good indeed. Can't wait to hear the rest of the album. |
